CBT-I Insomnia Treatment

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is an evidence-based treatment for those suffering from insomnia.  It works by addressing misconceptions about insomnia and replacing them with constructive and positive thoughts.

Michelle Decker, M.S.N., C.R.N.P. will investigate both medical (thyroid disorders, cortisol disorders, iron deficiency, and circadian rhythm disorders) and psychiatric conditions that may be interfering with sleep, including anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder and other psychiatric conditions.

If CBT-I alone does not completely solve the sleep concerns, Michelle can recommend over-the-counter remedies or prescribe medications to address insomnia.

Trust your sleep difficulties to a professional who takes a holistic approach to understanding your sleep disturbance.
