David A. Nover, M.D., F.A.P.A. is board certified in General Psychiatry and Adolescent Psychiatry and fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.  He has been practicing in Bucks County since 1989 and accepts patients from age fourteen to sixty. His particular interests are mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and attention deficit disorder. Dr. Nover consults to six local school districts. For fifteen years he provided psychiatric services to Bucks County Juvenile Court and maintains an interest in juvenile, civil, employment and criminal forensic work. Dr. Nover believes that each person must be understood from genetic, developmental and psychological perspectives in order to receive appropriate care. He therefore reserves 90 minutes for initial evaluations and performs medication visits in an unhurried manner. He formed this group practice in October 2002 and is very pleased to offer a wide range of services in one location.

THE 2 NEWEST MEMBERS OF OUR TEAM:

Robert F. Yochum, A.C.S.W., L.C.S.W. is a licensed clinical social worker and has known Dr. Nover since they were both starting their careers.  While Rob serves as Intake Manager at Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency (BCYSSA), he is a talented therapist and, for over 20 years, has worked with individuals, families and groups within the community, outpatient, and residential settings.  He wants to stay active as a therapist and we are so pleased he will be working after hours with our practice.  Rob received his undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from St. Joseph's University and his graduate degree in Social Work from Marywood University.  In addition to providing clinical services, Rob served as the Director of Ravenhill Psychological Services playing an instrumental role in program development and clinical supervision.  
 
While eclectic, Rob primarily utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach when working with clients.  Rob's expertise is working with adolescents and adults around issues of Interpersonal Violence, Problematic Sexual Behaviors, Sexual Acting Out,  Conduct Disorder, Parent Child Conflict, Adjustment Disorders,  Anger-Management and Criminal Behaviors. 

Sarah Ziegler, Psy.D. has recently earned her doctorate in psychology from LaSalle University where she also completed her undergraduate degree.  Dr. Ziegler joins us during her postgraduate year and has interest in obsessive compulsive disorder, impulse control disorders, sexual concerns, and trauma.  She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral  Therapy (CBT) and has experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Dawn H. Haaz, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in PA.  She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Dr. Haaz completed her pre-doctoral internship at Rider University’s Counseling Center and Psychology Residency at a private practice in Doylestown.  She is the Founder and CEO of the nonprofit organization, Girls Empowered.  Additionally, she has worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County for over 10 years.  She is currently the Psychological Consultant and Autism Spectrum Disorder Mentoring Initiative (ASDMI) Coordinator at this organization.  Dr. Haaz has experience treating adolescents and adults.  Her clinical specialties and interests include: self-esteem, relationship problems, sexual abuse/assault, LGBTQ concerns, eating disorders, and self-injurious behaviors.  In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Haaz enjoys giving presentations to other professionals and the community at large.  She is honored to be selected as one of 19 Emerging Leaders in Bucks and Montgomery Counties for 2017.  Dr. Haaz is now accepting Traditional Medicare Part B patients.  

 

Annmarie Crowell, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., B.C.D. is a licensed clinical social worker and Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work.  She has over twenty-five years of experience in working with at-risk children and their families.  She is certified in the forensic interviewing of children. Annmarie is also a certified hypnotherapist and uses hypnosis for weight loss, smoking cessation, and stress management. Annmarie provides a wide range of services including individual, family and couples counseling; relationship issues including infertility and menopause; family reunification; child and adolescent behavioral therapy; recovery from sexual and physical abuse; grief counseling; parenting education;  therapy for depression and anxiety; and ADHD education.  She uses cognitive behavioral approaches for treating panic attacks, PTSD and phobias.  Annmarie provides compassionate guidance which allows for the release of the limitations that keep people from reaching their goals.

 

 

Ryan Garrison, M.S., L.P.C. specializes in anger management, autism and developmental disorders, attention deficit disorder, and communication skills.  In addition to many years of work in our practice, Ryan is the Vice President of Admissions and Client Experience at Woods Services.  Ryan helps adolescents, adults, couples and families offering support and direction with a rational approach to his work. When not busy with his two sons, Ryan enjoys playing guitar and rooting for the Flyers, Phillies and Eagles. 

Broderick President, M.A. joined our staff as an individual and family therapist in August 2013.  He has expertise in helping adolescents and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression and phase of life issues.  Broderick has experience with family conferencing and substance abuse treatment. A former Division I basketball player, he understands the psychology of student-athletes in high school and college. Broderick serves as the Treatment Supervisor at the Bucks County Youth Center.  He has evening hours available at our office.
